The Darksider

This dream is a sketchy one. There were big gaps...like missing scenes, if you will. I'll just relay what I can remember.
There are two planets circling a sun. One planet is forever in the light because of the reflective capabilities of its moons. And the other planet is forever in darkness because its moons always block the rays of the sun. The people who live on the planets are as opposite in appearance
(Lightsiders and Darksiders, by the way, look like angels - Archangels and The Fallen, I guess you could call them) as they are in the way they view life and morality. And so they are always at war.

The Lightsiders decide that it's time to invade the Darksider planet and conquer them once and for all. They've been laying low, developing new technologies and they think that this time they'll be successful. On top of the new technologies, they've spent at least two generations developing a warrior class who's only goal is to serve the interest of the Lightsiders.
Unfortunately for them, however, the ruler of the Darksiders has a different plan. Not only does he have spies in the Lightsider government, he also planted a seed long ago, in the form of a child - a Lightsider child. Apparently he and a Lightsider had a relationship, but my dream wasn't clear if it was a mutual one or not. I feel like it was, and that although Darksiders weren't capable of feelings the way that we know of them, this ruler did care for his "mate" as much as he was able. The fact that this child looked like a Lightsider enabled her mother to raise her as a full-blooded one.

Anyway, this Lightsider child is one of the warrior class, and she is leading the fleet that is about to head over to the other side of their sun. She has no idea who she is, but she does knows that she's always felt a weird kind of pull toward the Darksiders. A sort of empathy for them, I guess. She doesn't think it will get in the way of her ability to do her job, which is to kill Darksiders and conquer the planet. So, off they all go in their spaceships!

For some strange reason, in this dream, they were able to land in a secret location and sneak around the planet doing their thing. The Lightsider child feels pulled toward a massive, jagged mountain, and so up she goes all by herself. At the top is the ruler of the Darksiders. She's sneaking around all of these boulders to get a better look at him and wondering why he's there, why she's there, and just what the hell is going on.

Finally she just bites the bullet and steps out in front of him. When she does she realizes right then exactly who she is and she completely understands why, all her life she felt drawn to this planet.
The Darksider basically explains that he is her father and that she needs to embrace her Darksider half. She's freaking out because she has no idea what to do. The Lightsiders are in the process of trying to conquer the planet, but now she feels like she has to stop it at all costs. She has to abort this mission because she knows that she can't destroy half of what she is.
In the dream, she does embrace her Darksider half and stays on the planet. But I don't get any feeling whether she's there to learn how to be evil or what.
